OSA Election 2013

Dear Fellow OSA Members:

The OSA Election Committee consisting of Dr Haralal Chowdhury (chair), Dr.Duryodhan Mangaraj and Dr.Jay Narayan Bhuyan (members) has completed the election process and submitted the results to OSA Executives this morning. Election was held for the positions of President and Vice President and Secretary and Treasurer for OSA.

OSA Executives presented the results to BOG members this morning through email and in a special BOG meeting which has accepted and approved the election results.

Following is the list of the newly elected OSA executives for 2013-2015:

Tapan Padhi – President

Dr.Sikhanda Satapathy – Vice-President

 

Sabita Panigrahi – Secretary

Prasanta Ranabijuli- Treasurer

 

On behalf of OSA Executives and the BOG, I congratulate all the newly elected OSA

officials for 2013-2015 and wish them well. I would also like to commend all the candidates for participating in the democratic electoral process.That is the strength of our organization – the smooth transition from one group of elected officials to the other. I would also like to thank the members of the Election Committee who conducted the election smoothly and all the members of OSA who participated in the election.

 

I request all the OSA members to extend support to the newly elected OSA officials.
