April Special

 

April is a special month in Orissa’s history. To commemorate this special month we have a special column “Mu Utkaliya” or Utkala pride, in which two of our OSA life members express themselves through Oriya poetry why they are proud of being Utkaliya. We also have another column on Hori Memories (Horira Smrutire). Hori is a colorful festival of India which is celebrated in March. Oriya community in Washington DC celebrated Holi on March 6^th. Michigan Oriya community is celebrating this festival of color as Basant Utsav on April 25, 2004. Thus, I hope the above two columns will be enjoyed by our OSA members.
